Quality Music Lessons Online

Music is my life. I have over 20 years of experience as a pianist and vocalist. I have a mastery of all different genres, whether you are interested in learning how to play Classical music the way that the great composers wanted their music played, or you want to rock out on the keys, I offer specialized knowledge on a wide range of methods and techniques. Pop, Country, you name it. Whether you are a beginner looking for your first lessons, or you are an experienced performer looking for a second opinion on techniques and methods, the techniques I teach have been passed down to me by some of the best musicians in the Pacific Northwest. I provide the highest quality lessons online, as if it were an in-person lesson. Something that I can teach you that is unique to all other lessons offered out there, is my specialized knowledge in singing and playing piano all at once. In order to play more challenging music while also singing your heart out at the same time, it requires a lot of confidence in your abilities. And I can teach you how to do this. The proper techniques are universal, they apply to all genres.

One word: Technique

Technique is one of the most important things that I teach. It is essential to have good technique if you want to be able to play fast, difficult music with ease. But it is also important to have good technique to prevent injuries. Some of the common bad habits beginners tend to have that could lead to strains in the tendons or wrists are excessive lifting of the fingers, or unnecessary bending in the wrists. Shoulder tightness, jaw tightness, and poor posture will also contribute to potential injuries. If you want to be able to play as much as you want for as long as you want, you need to have good technique. This is something that I can help you with. Poor technique and posture by no means makes you any less of a musician or artist. But developing good proper techniques will open doors and allow you to play anything you want.
